After a bit more work on the guest cottage today I went down to the water for a swim. Cutty didn’t miss out either.
It’s strange that just across the water in the background we have Stradbroke island, one of the biggest sand islands in the world. It has beautiful pristine white sandy beaches for miles. Yet here, we have these volcanic pebble beaches. I actually prefer the pebbles, since unlike sand the pebbles don’t stick to everything and end up all over your house.
It’s a naturally beautiful and unique place.
After a swim it was back to work in the garden. Cutty took advantage of the sunny day to dry off.
